Volunteer or a Doer?

Swingin' Spring is organized by volunteers and members of the West Coast Jitterbugs for dancers around Europe and the world. The camp has existed since 1994. Join us in creating joy and memories for life!

• A Volunteer flex between work and dancing the night you help. You get different work shifts and dance during the breaks.
• A Doer is a person who helps for whole days or alot of hours and becomes part of the organizer's group.

 

Duties?

• Duties for a volunteer can be setting up and taking down, stage, floor, water table and registration. Stand in registration and welcome people, check off and give them wristbands. Help in wardrobe, sell t-shirts and merch and keep an eye on the water table that it is clean and tidy. 
• A doer can also be responsible for the training room and welcoming people,answer questions and keep it clean and tidy.

 

All volunteers and doers can attend daytime themed classes and get a Swingin`Spring t-shirt. A doer will be invited to the organizers' dinner after the camp.
